Skanda Yoga Online 200hr Teacher Training

The Skanda Yoga Teacher Training is a comprehensive, Vinyasa-based program rooted in the Skanda Yoga methodology and designed to develop a deep understanding of yoga as a complete practice.

The training brings together asana, movement mechanics, breath, meditation, philosophy, and mythology, creating an integrated approach that goes far beyond learning postures and memorizing sequences.

Students develop a strong foundation in alignment, functional movement, sequencing, pranayama, and the principles behind effective practice, while also exploring the deeper philosophical and symbolic traditions that give yoga its context and meaning.

The goal is to develop practitioners and teachers who are knowledgeable, adaptable, and confident—with the understanding and practical tools to work with different bodies, different levels of experience, and different needs.

The Skanda Yoga methodology combines traditional yogic teachings with contemporary movement principles, creating a training that honors the roots of yoga while remaining relevant to the way we practice and teach today.

By the end of the program, graduates will have the knowledge, experience, and framework to lead thoughtful, intelligent, and purposeful yoga practices grounded in a complete understanding of the Skanda Yoga system.

Program overview:

  • Asana practice (60 hours): Developing strength, flexibility, and body awareness through flowing sequences and mindful alignment.
  • Pranayama and breathwork (10 hours): Techniques to enhance vitality, focus, and energetic balance.
